Case Study: Successful Commercial Solar Installation at Just Motor Group
Company Background:
Objective: Just Motor Group, which has sites in Preston, Keighley and Harrogate, aimed to lower their electricity bills across all sites with Solar PV and to generate income from surplus energy via export agreements. We suggested Solar PV systems tailored for each site (using scaffolding in nonintrusive areas) which reduced their reliance on imported grid energy.

The new systems use Solis inverters and JA Solar 545 watt panels. We installed the Soliscloud app so that the customer could monitor the generation and we obtained an export MPAN from ENWL (Preston) and Northern Powergrid (Harrogate and Keighley) on their behalf. We also installed an EPM (export power manager) at the Harrogate and Keighley sites.
